Ready to get rid of the frizz and minimize the amount of curl found in your hair without the harsh chemicals?!! Well here at The Beauty Box Salon we offer a Keratin Treatment that is a Formaldehyde free formula, the main preservative found in the Sunpure line is Vanillian, which is produced from a vanilla bean plant (the second most expensive spice in the world.)

My Favorite “Go To” Product!!

 

 

 

Moraccanoil has become one of the hottest products on the market!!! And NO YOU CAN’T GET IT AT WAL-MART OR ALBERTSONS!!!  Its unique formulation of Argan oils has been proven to repair damaged hair, not to mention the wonderful aroma that it has… you seriously think you are in paradise!!

 

How I like to use these products!!  My absolute favorite would be the original Moroccanoil Oil Treatment, I love to use this before I start styling and afterward for a polished look.   So basically with this product you want to apply about a quarter size amount on your palms rub it in your hair but only applying it mid-shaft down, DO NOT apply to roots (will make it oily … duh!) by doing so it will allow you to reduce your drying time, it will help tame down any baby hairs and help out with that frizz that we hate so much!!  Once you have finished your styles out take about a dime size amount onto your palms and rub it in to your ends only for a sleek polished look.  Now for you blondes and fine haired ladies out there they make a Moroccanoil Light Treatment as well, I use it the same way as the original oil treatment but about a dime size amount on wet and dry hair. 

 

As for their shampoo and conditioner I would totally recommend it all the way, but I would alternate it with another shampoo during the week, especially for blondes and for those of you who have fine hair, it will tend to weigh it down.  But the product itself is awesome, its unique aroma is amazing and the way it leaves your hair feeling silky and smooth is awesome. 

 

Now for those of you have severely dry or damaged hair, you will fall in love with the Intense Hydrating Mask and the Restorative Hair Mask, both of these products will help replenish the hair with a protein rich formula, will help restructure the hair, improve the texture, and will help restore manageability.  Simply shampoo as normal apply the mask and let it set on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse as normal.  

 

Curly hair an issue!!?? You have even more reasons to love these products, the shampoo and conditioner will help maintain that mane, the Moroccanoil Oil Treatment would help give you a polished look, and their Intense Curl Cream is AMAZING!!  Will allow you to have the fabulous bouncy curls you have always wanted without looking like MUFASA!!  Hahaha sorry but seriously!!!

What Rosita Thought About This Year's Victoria Secret Fashion Show!!!

Alright all you VS fans out there here are some of this year’s beautiful Angels!!   One of my favorite things about this year’s show… I mean besides the bombshell abs, and their sexy long legs, was the hair and makeup!!   Most of them had long sexy loose curls throughout their hair, or shall I say extensions… Come on you didn’t think all of that hair was natural did you?!   Topping it off with their sheer natural makeup, thank goodness it wasn’t too over the top, and what about that middle part on all of them!! Yep totally loved it!!   

Let’s not forget about Katy Perry and her spectacular look and performances!! I love it how she is so out there and different but in a way classy look!  Hair curled and directed to one side… loved it!! Have to say I was impressed this year!!

Shorts Are A Must This Winter!

Are Shorts Acceptable To Wear During The Cold Winter Months?!?

UMMM HELL YES!!

 

Don’t know about you but I can’t wait to go shopping for this hot trend!  The question is how do I accomplish this look without looking like a complete street walker?! (Love me some Fashion Police!)

 

Alright ladies, this is how we go about pulling this look off this winter!  Tights and leggings are a must have, try to wear them with the color of your shorts, it will help elongate the legs.  You can go for the sweater tights or Opaque style, avoid any ribbed tights if you want to play with fun patterns such as a leopard print keep the rest of your outfit simple. 

 

Shorts are now a seasonless option, and during the winter you won’t have to worry about shaving or having super ashy knees ;)  Not to mention that we have more options, rather than your typical black shorts you can now wear heavier fabrics such as wool during the day or velvet and sequined shorts for nightwear.   Remember to work with what works best for your body type, if you can wear a high wasted shorts great if not… do everyone a favor and DON’T.  Looser fabrics are also going to work best for avoiding a muffin top that one can get from the tights not to mention the unibutt!! We will have to adjust our butt area just like we do the girls ladies.  Here are a couple of my favorite celebs that wore it right and some not so much!
