Shorts Are A Must This Winter!

Are Shorts Acceptable To Wear During The Cold Winter Months?!?

UMMM HELL YES!!

 

Don’t know about you but I can’t wait to go shopping for this hot trend!  The question is how do I accomplish this look without looking like a complete street walker?! (Love me some Fashion Police!)

 

Alright ladies, this is how we go about pulling this look off this winter!  Tights and leggings are a must have, try to wear them with the color of your shorts, it will help elongate the legs.  You can go for the sweater tights or Opaque style, avoid any ribbed tights if you want to play with fun patterns such as a leopard print keep the rest of your outfit simple. 

 

Shorts are now a seasonless option, and during the winter you won’t have to worry about shaving or having super ashy knees ;)  Not to mention that we have more options, rather than your typical black shorts you can now wear heavier fabrics such as wool during the day or velvet and sequined shorts for nightwear.   Remember to work with what works best for your body type, if you can wear a high wasted shorts great if not… do everyone a favor and DON’T.  Looser fabrics are also going to work best for avoiding a muffin top that one can get from the tights not to mention the unibutt!! We will have to adjust our butt area just like we do the girls ladies.  Here are a couple of my favorite celebs that wore it right and some not so much!

No reason why one should have a bad hair day.   Honestly, it takes an extra 10-15 minutes a day,  here a couple of easy looks that you could use. 

 

Slight natural wave?  Glam them up with loose curls in the front and some randomly throught the back, as seen on Beyonce

Sexy curls!! You can accomplish this look by curling your hair with a flat iron, or with a curling wand!  You can leave your hair all the way down with a part down the middle or you can glam it up a bit more by adding hair accessories!!  A few other looks with the same style would be to pin it half way up or do a good old front twist!

Over the last few weeks we have seen many celebrities new trendy chic look without the long gorgeous locks!  People like Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley, Nicole Richie have gone for the classic bob with a bit of a modern twist, the classic chic bob has traded in it sleek look for some fun sexy layers to give it an edgy modern look.    

Yet we see many celebrities who would never trade in their long hair for the short and shaggy look!  Such celebs would be the Kardashian sisters, Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw oh I mean Sarah Jessica Parker ;) Reese Witherspoon, and Vanessa Hudgens.  Oh yes lets not forget about our Fashion Police round table!! That’s right even our fashion cops are sporting the long sexy waves, Giuliana Rancic loves her extensions and DOES NOT plan on giving up her weave anytime soon.  Kelly Osbourne sports a clip in ponytail to change up her daily look, or even when she is press for time… only have a few minutes to do something with the do?? Simply use a chic clip in pony and rock it out! So if you can't, please don't.  Extensions have come a long way and when you find the right stylist to do them just right you will never turn away from them again!! Trust me, get the hair you have always said you wanted!! I KNOW I DID!!

Fashion Police : Rosa Marrufo Speaks her mind on this weeks winners!!

As Joan Rivers would say “JUST BECAUSE IT ZIPS DOESN’T MEAN IT FITS!!”

 

Yes Hollywood sees its share of True Beauty flaunting and working the Red Carpet in amazing gowns and hairstyles like Halle Berry!!   Halle is radiating beauty in a vibrant single-shoulder Yves Saint Laurent gown and of course her trademark pixie haircut (love it… it’s the only hairstyle I believe looks amazing on Halle Berry… wasn’t too fond of her hair in September’s 2010  Fashion Bible issue, Vogue !!!

 

Then Hollywood meets its nightmare, oh yes even talked about in “BITCH stole my look”!!  

Fashion Police sirens are screaming out to Taylor Momsen, not only is her outfit totally illegal but can you say HORRIBLE HAIR EXTENSIONS, and what is up with the disgusting gothic makeup!!!   Can we please get something new to gossip about on the Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen’s terrible intake on what “fashion” is … Thank you, we can move on now!!
