DEAL OR NO DEAL?
In the past 2 years we have seen Groupon, BuyWithMe, and Living Social go through the roof. I myself have been able to really appreciate these awesome online deals, but as someone on the other end the table, I feel like I have to reiterate what these amazing deals are all about. As a growing stylist in the DFW I have found these Online Specials to be both good and bad, over the last year we have offered several different types of specials here at The Beauty Box Salon. Along with them I have made several loyal clients, who now come see me every 6 weeks. Their purpose was to seek a new stylist, and lets face finding the "right" stylist is both scary and expensive... but being able to provide my services to women and men who are new to the area, have been wanting to find a new stylist has made their search so much more easier because they don't feel like they are spending an arm and a leg to "try" someone out. I personally have offered to partake in these specials for the reason that I am always open for NEW business, and at the end of the day it pays off.
Now on another note, we have those clients who just want a "good" deal. Along with that good deal, they also feel entitled to overstep boundaries. I'm sorry but I am not here to just be "another" coupon to add to your stack, with that being said if you make an appointment respect that persons schedule and show up on time... Yes I get it things may come up and you may have to reschedule your appointment, but when you change it 2-3 times and then not show up... I'm sorry but that is just straight up rude.... Like I said, I am here to make you happy and I will do everything in my power to make sure that when you leave my chair you are in love with your hair! r
