Amazing Color Correction | Dallas
Color At Your Own Risk.
Alright ladies, here it is I understand times are tough but please listen to me when I say... DO NOT ATTEMPT TO COLOR YOUR OWN HAIR AT HOME!!! How hard can it be? What could go wrong? Well if you don't know what you are doing it can be very difficult... and a million things could go wrong. You could break off your hair, have 3 different tones in your hair color, you could damage your hair to the point where you have no choice but to cut it all off or where you literally have hair that feels like cotton candy. Then at the end of the day after all this has happened to you "just to save a few bucks", well let me just tell you, you end up having to spend twice the amount you would have if you would just leave it to the professionals. I know this may sound a little harsh, but I truly say it with love, I have personally just seen way too many disasters happen. Take for example my client I had in my chair just yesterday, she thought she could lighten her own hair at home... going from a dark brunette to a hot mess is the result she got. As you can see she had 3 different tones going on, I had to cut at least 4 inches of her hair off, do a restorative deep conditioning treatment with Moroccan Oil Treatment Mask. Obviously her goal was to become a blonde, but in order to preserve her hair, I told her that there is no way that I would be able to lighten her hair without damaging it even more. Using Wella Color I brought her back to a very nice golden light brown color, once we get her hair back to its healthy state I will be able to incorporate some highlights to brighten her up. But personally I think this color looks fabulous on her, it brings out her beautiful eyes, and it compliments her skin tone amazingly. So like I said ladies, I have just seen too many things go wrong when people attempt their own color, so PLEASE don't do it.

Anne Hathaway Finds Herself in Fashion!!!
As the years pass, we have seen Anne Hathaway evolve into a major FASHIONISTA. She now walks the Red Carpet with her head held up high, knocking us on our feet!! I love it, I will have to say my favorite role she has played was Andréa in the Devil Wears Prada. Then to see her host the 2011 Oscars was amazing, she was stunning in every gown she wore that night... and yes she even rocked the tuxedo. I personally can't wait to see her as this years sexy Catwoman in the upcoming film, Dark Knight Rises, but here recently she has slipped out of that Catwoman suit for the debut of her first ever Tod's campaign. " I have been a long time fan of Tod's, and was very excited to be a part of exploring a new side of their identity with the launch of their Signature collection." What Great Extensions Should Look Like
There is nothing worse then being at the local Starbucks enjoying my coffee in the morning to see a random woman come in with some of the worse extensions I have ever seen before. Ladies let me tell you that your extensions should not be two toned, your hair cut should blended, and most of all they should look natural. It really breaks my heart that there are women out there that put their trust into their hair stylist that sends them out looking like a total disaster, and even worse at the fact that there are stylist out there that will do that to their clients. I know that when my clients leave with their beautiful new set of extensions they look FABULOUS!! Why?! Because extensions are an investment, they aren't cheap, and women want to get their moneys worth. Second of all that is my name walking around, there is nothing better than seeing my client and getting a call from her later that day just to tell me that she was stopped at Saks and was told how beautiful her hair color looked... of course they couldn't complement her extensions because they looked that natural. Anyhow, that in itself is one of the most rewarding feelings EVER, and I am proud to say that I do my best to see my client smiling "whipping her hair back and forth". Ha So I guess all I am trying to say is ladies do your research, there really is someone out there that will give you the proper treatment.

Amazing Alternative to the Brazilian Blowout | Dallas

As a stylist who has worked with several different types of Keratin Treatments, all I can say is that I'm done working with anything "Keratin" or "Brazilian Blowouts". If there is keratin then there is FORMALDEHYDE, I love my clients but I can't continue to breathe in toxins that can later catch up with me in life, not to mention that I want to make sure I work with the safest products to preserve my clients' hair.
